May Faridah comes to SHR with over 40 years of experience in the Airline, Travel Agent and Hotel Industry. She has worked 19 years at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels & Resorts and was heavily involved in two major CRS migration; from Pegasus to Synxis and Synxis to Windsurfer. Being Director of the Global Distribution team, she ensured timely rate loading, GDS & IDS Hotel Content updates and assisted new hotel builds while implementing CRS – OTA and CRS – PMS. With her expertise, she had also provided CRS Training which included having to go overseas for onsite sessions and is an essential support for all CRS-related issue.
May started her career at Singapore Airlines – Finance – Traffic Revenue department and subsequently transferred to the Singapore Ticketing office to assist with passengers’ travel plans. She has also worked at Traders Hotel Singapore, Sheraton Towers, and Orchard Hotel as Reservations & Revenue Manager.
May has acquired extensive knowledge and experience while working at UOB Travel Planners responsible for Key UOB Senior Management official and private travels as well as managing a team of executives that were responsible for corporate travelers.
In her downtime and most enjoyable moments, you will find May going for walks, watching Korean dramas, or baking.
