Sally has a rich history with SHR, having joined Whiteboard Labs in 2004 to lead the GDS department, eventually serving on the team that launched the company’s iconic Windsurfer® CRS. In her current position as Vice President of Implementation and Consortia Services, Sally’s main focus is as the company’s Implementation Strategist, helping clients activate SHR services, and finding solutions to help streamline their CRS and Consortia needs. In addition, she is responsible for executing on SHR services that enhance the hotel guests’ experience of service and value, as well as on strategic plans for operational excellence in implementation delivery.
Previously, Sally served as SHR’s Director of Implementations where she worked to increase revenues and profitability across all connectivity-related channels for clients—PMS, GDS, IDS, booking engine, and OTA. She did this by not only ensuring successful system implementations for large and small hotel clients across the board, but by also providing the best in ongoing support and optimization for those same clients moving forward.
Before joining SHR, Sally held key roles in hospitality tech as the Database Maintenance Supervisor for TravelClick, where she created myriad new best practices documents, all geared to streamline the database process flow. In addition to her direct hospitality technology background, Sally has also held vital tech positions within the hotel industry itself at Red Lion Hotels as the company’s GDS & Channel Manager, and at Starwood Hotels and Resorts as their GDS Marketing Manager.
