Allegra Medina joined SHR in July 2019 as Director of Product Management and is currently Senior Director – Product. In this role, Allegra focuses on the user experience in defining and guiding the vision and lifecycle for SHR’s suite of products. Allegra oversees the Product management team, actively working to research opportunities, co-create with development and design features for existing products as well as new initiatives as they are brought to market.
Allegra Holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Management and Health and Human Services Management. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having served in several vital roles from System Implementation and Support to the Senior Director level in Distribution. Over the past 18 years, she has worked alongside software teams to outline, develop and deploy user-facing platforms and back-end infrastructures. Some of her projects have included defining an Enterprise Data Warehouse with system integration, multiple CRM solutions, website solutions with integration, CRS systems with integration, and a BI platform. She has held positions of Senior Director of Distribution and Channel Management, Director of CRM, and Director of Analytics. In these roles, Allegra not only worked to streamline processes but to define and implement software products that were used by the corporate enterprise servicing over 1,200 properties.
